We are a 100% volunteer department that responds to an average of 300 calls per year.  We have a BLS light rescue, heavy rescue, 2 engines, a tanker and a squad Truck.  We were founded in 1825 and incorporated an an independent fire company in 1946.  We support our community in more ways than just emergency services.  We host or participate in a number of community events including: a Memorial Day Parade, VVS Little League Opening Day Parade, Fire Safety day at the elementary school, Fire Prevention day at the village library,  Halloween and Christmas parties at the Fire House.
